Biodiversity Net Gain – Solutions for Developers and Designers

Last week, we hosted a panel discussion focusing on Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) – where we deliberated the complexities of balancing development with biodiversity conservation. We debated over whether BNG could result in less than optimal nature-based solutions being delivered in urban development projects and weighed up how collaboration between developers, local authorities, environmental organisations and communities can better enhance the effectiveness of BNG and ultimately lead to nature recovery.
